Hi there!
Nahtaivel’s new album is now 95% finished. It will be called “Epicus Doomicus Electronicus” and it is a great departure from the previous albums.
The album will be epic, slow and… electronic 🙂
This week I’ll be releasing a teaser.
Why so soon, since Pon Farr was released in the last december?
The recordings for Pon Farr were finished way before the releasing of the album, 8 or 9 months before. The first song for Epicus Doomicus Electronicus was finished last July, 5 months before the releasing of Pon Farr. So, 2 months after the releasing of Pon Farr I ended up with another full album almost finished.

This album will be released in digital formats only. I can’t afford to release physical albums anymore, It’s sad, but they hardly sell nowadays. I have sold more digital albums (throught Bandcamp and iTunes) of the last album than physical ones. I’d like to release again on physical format, but for me it has become economically unviable to do it again.
The album will probably be released next May, and I hope you all like it.

O novo álbum da banda Nahtaivel está 95% concluído. Ele será chamado “Epicus Doomicus Electronicus” e é muito diferente de meus álbuns anteriores.
O álbum será épico, lento e… eletrônico 🙂
Esta semana divulgarei um teaser dele.
Porque tão cedo, já que Pon Farr foi lançado em dezembro?
As gravação do Pon Farr foram finalizadas muito antes do lançamento do álbum, 8 ou 9 meses antes. A primeira música para o Epicus Doomicus Electronicus foi finalizada em julho, 5 meses antes do lançamento do Pon Farr. Portanto, 2 meses após o lançamento do Pon Farr eu já tinha um novo álbum quase finalizado.
Este álbum será lançado somente em formato digital. Eu não tenho mais condições de investir em formatos físicos, pois infelizmente eles quase não vendem hoje em dia. Eu vendi mais álbuns digitais (através do Bandcamp e iTunes) do que físicos do último álbum. Eu gostaria de lançar novamente em CD, mas isso se tornou inviável economicamente para mim.
O álbum provavelmente será lançado em maio, eu espero que vocês gostem.
